‘Twas a busy weekend, not so much house wise, more general life wise. There was of course Tamsyn’s competition on Friday, we’re finally finished with them for this year, and she is now officially in level 4. She wasn’t all that happy with her performance, personally I think to be able to tell someone you’re 15th in the whole of the greater Cape area is flippen good, but she’s never come that low before so for her it was a bit of a disappointment. She performed well, not quite as well as she can, if one is to be honest – but still – to make WP 3 years in a row and to come 15/28 is something to be proud of.
There was also a get together with my brother, Clive and his family – his kids birthdays are very close together so they tend to combine their parties. I take my hat off to my sister in law – 28 kids indoors on a cold and stormy day. Not my idea of fun. We reaped the benefits though, lots of leftover cake on Sunday.
I also managed to get a picture of Jessica – wonder of wonders.
One also shouldn’t leave kids in a car with a camera for too long, tend to get interesting results.
My word didn’t we have horrendous weather over the weekend, it just kept coming and coming, just when you thought it was over, another downpour would hit. On the way home Sunday we thought we’d see what the sea looked like.
Really cold, if you ask me.
