Got home yesterday to find a speeding fine in my post box…..
Tried to convince Wouter he was driving, figure I probably should have pencilled in a beard first. R300.00 for doing 84 in a 60 zone – daylight robbery. I must say though – the new website payfine.co.za does make paying them a helluva lot easier, very user friendly site. Not that I wish to go on there too many times.
And now for an anecdote from the B/H/DW household….
Tamsyn: “Mom, can I pee into the toilet like a boy?”
brief silence
Me: “Sure if you clean up the mess afterwards”
Tamsyn: {Jubilant dancing around the house naked} “Come see”
Me: “Well done, just a few drops on the toilet seat”
Tamsyn: “and I don’t even have to drip dry”
*sigh*
Must say Granny took the news rather well and declined the invitation to witness another attempt. Tamsyn reckons now she’ll be able to use public toilets without having to physically touch them, very logical is my youngest. She’s also very tempted to tell all the boys in her class that she can ‘pee’ like them, we agreed that might not be such a good idea, just now they ask for a demonstration!

We found Jessica’s top in a shop in Knysna, can’t remember the name but it had the most eclectic mix of stuff.
